Well it appears that I will only ever write on my blog once a year. Guess i’ll start from January 2017. I passed my JLPT N5 that I took last December for learning Japanese. I go this weekend to Atlanta to try for N4. I doubt i’ll pass as im way behind in studies.
Last time I saw mom was on vacation in January. Spoke to her last on her birthday. And texed last on March 18th or so. She died March 20th. Been pretty damn hard. Wasn’t really expecting her to die so soon. At least she wasn’t alone. Tosha and Diann had been living there and they couldnt wake her and called 911 and called me shortly after. Autopsy shows she died of heart issues. A few of em. But mainly blockages and hardened artery’s due to high blood pressure.
Not really even close to getting over it yet. Still makes me depressed and sad to think about. Kinda derailed my Japanese studies and everything else.
Booked my trip to Japan for March 2018 with me and my friend Jeremy.
Its November now almost December. I need to go get paper work to run for County Commissioner again. Need to knock some doors to get signatures again.
Not really much else to tell. Mom was the big thing this year. Probably will be for the next many years. I know she would always talk about my Nanny. Even after 18 years.
Just a sad entry I guess.
Thought i’d add a P.S. Here. Didnt see any mention that me and the wife went to Niagara Falls July of 2016. Was an amazing trip.
