Lots has happened since my last post. My boss had a wreck in June and is still not well. Her boss called me a week or so ago and said that her job was open and if I didn’t take it he would find someone who would. So I said i’d take it.
I got my drug test in the mail and it turned out to be a hair test. Well I started keeping short hair over a year ago, the nurse at the clinic said they could not use my hair on my head. They took a look at my body, legs, underarms and so forth and said “your going to have to come back in several weeks when your hair grows out”. I had to tell them it needed to be done within 24hours or else. So they shaved my body. And once they did that they said “This may not be enough hair” hahahahhaha.
But all ended up good. It was enough, the test came back good , the background check cleared, and my documents were in order. So as of Oct 1st I sign paperwork to make it official. I’ll be the new sales rep in the area. I’m told when Alicia is ready to come back she will still have a job , just not the same territory. So its good she’s not being booted. Makes me glad.
The job went from part time making low pay, to full time and 7times the pay, plus commission . After all it’ll be in the 30’s which is nice.
I just feel excited and can’t wait to get into the grooove of things. Learn all the aspects of the job and get started.
